It's Wine O'Clock Somewhere!

I picked up this Studio G sentiment stamp a few days ago at Michaels, I thought it was so cute!
I put it together with Rubbernecker Stamps Watercolor Wine stamp set using Archival black ink and Victorian Velvet Distress Ink.  After stamping I cut it out with a stitched square die from my stash and used foam tape to give it a little more dimension on this CAS card.  You can't see it but I added Spectrum Noir sparkle pen to the wine, bottle, and glass.

Happiness is a Friend

Had some fun today in the cave.....trying to keep positive while keeping in touch with my daughter in Houston.  She lives in downtown Houston, and her street this morning looked like this:

Some pretty scary stuff.....she said it has gone down a little while it's stopped raining, but now it's been raining off and on....please pray for all the people of Houston and everyone in the path of this mess.  We have my other daughter's wedding coming up soon that we need to all get to!
Rain, rain, go away!

Anyway, I stamped some critter stamps from my stash, using masking paper to clump them in a group, colored them with Spectrum Noir markers.  I used masking paper again over all 3 of them so I could stencil the hearts in the background.  The sentiment is from A Gillian Vance coffee sentiment set, but I took out the works "& coffee) and used the rest of the words.

The card stock is from Gina K Designs, Reverse Confetti, and my stash.  The scalloped frame is from Wplus9.  Here's a closer view:

Two Hearts Beat as One

Happy Saturday!  I hope you are having a great weekend so far!

I never seem to have an anniversary card when I need one, so today I made 3 for my stash.  One from turquoise and white and the other 2 from kraft and white.

I used the Memory Box music die along with sentiments from CAS-ual Fridays Heartbeats stamp set.
The white ones were stamped and the kraft one was heat embossed in white.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Here are close ups of each of them:

Cooking with Wine

I recently won this sentiment stamp from Rubbernecker stamps and I absolutely love it!
I love cooking and wine so this was a perfect stamp for me!  I also used their Watercolor Wine stamp, outline in black and burgandy for the wine.  It's reflecting in the top picture because I added lot of Gelly Roll glitter pen.  It even looks like it has texture too.  I used my corner rounder on 3 of the 4 corners for interest.  Thanks so much for stopping by!

Best Buds - I'm Always Here

I had a little time to play in the cave today....so I made this Best Buds card.  I got out some EK Tools Assorted Wood Sheets and die cut some of them.  I used a stitched window dies from my stash for the 3 cute little kitties to peek out of.   I stamped the 3 kitties and then cut them out with my Scan n Cut, then colored them with Zigs.  I put it all on a white panel cut with some Gina Marie Wonky stitched rectangle dies, adhered that to a piece of wood sheet that was on a card base.  The sentiment is from Stampendous.

Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope your week is going great!

CAS Holiday - Touch of Red

Hi, welcome to my blog and happy Saturday.  I'm sitting in my backyard enjoying the day and I can hear a local marching band playing as they  do their annual "march-a-thon" through the neighborhood.  I'm so happy for them that it is a relatively cool day with a wonderful breeze instead of a normal "way too hot" day in August.  They sound really good - what fun they are having and it's so cool that they do this to kick off their school year.

I had a little time in the cave and plan to spend most of the day in there creating and having fun!

This card was made with a new to me set from Hampton Art, that came with one die and several stamps.  I used the die to cut the buck or moose or whatever that is - somebody tell me!  I stamped everything in Staz-On brown ink with my Misti to get it nice and dark, then I used my Scan n Cut to cut out the banner and holly.  This card is so plain and simple, but I really like the way it turned out.  Some of my family members are really into CAS style and not much frill, so I think this design will be a perfect card to make for them for Christmas this year.  I finished it off by adding 3 red berries from my stash.  Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope your weekend is off to a great start!
