Happy Spring with Memory Box Anemone Collection

Hello and welcome, it's Angie again here today with a quick and easy Happy Spring card featuring new paper and a beautiful word die from the latest Anemone Collection release.

Supplies:  https://ldli.co/e/ye5yngx

I used one of the pretty papers from the "Anemone Grove" 6X6 paper pad.  It's so detailed and filled with little anemone flowers, leaves and berries in pinks, whites and greens.  There's just a little yellow in there too, so look closely below at the gorgeous details in this paper:

I put the paper behind a heart opening in the card front, made with the "Double Stitch Happy Heart Cut-Out" die and then die cut the "Happy Spring Debut Script" die from inked cardstock and white cardstock.  Next I added it to the heart center and then added "Pastel Jewels" (JWO002) in each of the tiny flower centers.

I do have a quick tip for you if you use liquid glue to add the thin letters to the shadow, or really for anytime you have delicate dies to glue together.  Put a dab of glue on either a scrap piece of paper or even on the back of your hand and spread it around, the quickly tap the back of the delicate die piece in the glue and adhere it.  This keeps you from getting glue seeping out and really works well if you are using mirrored papers too.  Even though most glues dry clear, if glue seeps out on mirror type paper, it always seems to show even after it dries.  Just a little tip I use to glue my sentiment together and any other tiny dies when I don't want any glue seepage.

Here's one last look at my card for today:

This card was super quick and with those gorgeous papers, and one word die, it makes a fast and beautiful card in no time.  I hope you will give this design a try.  You can even keep several on hand in your stash without a sentiment on it and then when you need a particular card for any occasion you will have one ready to go!

Thanks so much for stopping by!  See you next time!
