Hello and welcome! I recently started scrapbooking after we moved and downsized for the 2nd time. All my old albums with photos of my children when they were little were falling apart, so I took them all out and decided to scrapbook. When I was looking for products, I ran across 49 and Market and fell in love with their products.
I've scrapbooked some of my photos and have been having lots of fun. But while looking at the lovely products, I couldn't help myself, being a cardmaker - I had to make some cards with the products.
I posted these two on IG earlier today, that I made with leftover 49 and Market scrapbooking goodies:

And then I wanted to use the beautiful Eucalyptus Rub On Transfers that I recently purchased on some clean and simple cards. These are my favorite color and I fell in love with them when I saw them.
Here's a closer look at my first of 3 cards. The sentiment came from the Vintage Artistry Sunburst Collection - Chipboard Set, but all the rest of the card is the rub ons added around the card front. Here's a closer look:
Here's a look at my 2nd clean and simple card:
This time I added the background rub-ons first and then I added the small sentiment toward the top right. Next, I put the butterfly rub on on a separate piece of card stock. I trimmed it out and cut in the middle of the wings to give it more dimension and then popped it up on foam dots on the card. I added clear jewels to the back of the butterfly for more sparkle. Here's a closer look:
And here's my 3rd and final card for this post. It's super CAS and I love the way it turned out. I only used 3 rub ons, a leaf, a border, and one butterfly. I did the butterfly exactly like the last card, put it on separate card stock piece, cut it out, popped it up, and added jewels. The sentiment is from the Vintage Artistry Sunburst Collection - Chipboard Set - Words. I added it in the center. Here's a look at that card:
I hope you like my cards for today. I've never made cards from scrapbooking supplies, but I think I'm hooked! I love learning to scrapbook with 49 and Market products, and I’m very new to it. My first love is and always will be card making so it's only natural that I would find uses for these supplies on my cards! I love the way they all turned out.
I have affiliate links for all the products I used on all 5 cards below for you, at no extra cost to you if you are interested in them. I appreciate your taking the time to stop by my blog today - Happy Crafting my friends!

Delightful Angie. I have a few 49th and Market rub ons and love them. Your cards are gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteAngie, these are beautiful. I love that you are having fun re-making your albums, too.
