Home Tweet Home Mini Slimline with New Creative Expressions "Happy Home"

Hello and welcome!

Today I have a mini slimline card featuring the newly released "Happy Home" stamp set designed by Sam Poole for Creative Expressions.  It's such a lovely set with an adorable birdhouse, two sweet birdies, and lovely sentiments too.  Here's a closer look:

I stamped the birdhouse image on a mini slimline card base and the two birds on a separate piece of Bristol Smooth card stock.  After coloring everything with Zig Clean Color markers, a water brush, colored pencils, and a white gel pen, I fussy cut out the birds and popped them up on foam tape.

For the rose gold edges I masked off the card edge and added Rose Gold Metallic Gilding Polish from Cosmic Shimmer.  I also added some to a plain white piece of card stock and used a multi size heart punch from my stash to create the sweet rose colored hearts.  I wish you could see how metallic and pretty the polish looks in person, but it's hard to capture in my pictures.  Just believe me, it's awesome!!!

I think I will be using this set for a lot of cards because I really like the images, they are just the sweetest and so easy to color.  Here's one last look:
