Cosmic Creatures from Dare 2B Artzy

Hello and welcome!  I'm up on the Dare 2B Artzy blog today with this fun slimline card featuring the "Cosmic Creatures" stamp set, linked below.  I think this is one of my favorite all time alien stamp sets!  They are just the cutest!

Here's a close look at my card:

Supplies used for my card:

"Cosmic Creatures" stamp and die set 22350

"Make Waves" paper pack PP1109

"Square Framlit" die set 

"Totally Black Ink"

Other:

Alcohol markers

Spellbinders Platinum 6

Foam tape

Clear embossing powder

Here's how I made my card:

1)  Cut the striped patterned paper from "Make Waves" paper pack to 3.5" by 8.5"

2)  With the approximate 1" square from the "Square Framlit" die set, cut 5 holes in the striped paper

4)  Stamp, clear emboss and die cut the critters and stars from the "Cosmic Creatures" stamp set

5)  Color the critters and stars with alcohol markers in red and teal

6)  Cut card base 8.5" X 7" and score on 7" side at 3.5" then fold in half

7)  Add striped panel to 8.5" by 3.5" slimline card 

8)  With foam tape or foam squares pop up the critters over the square holes in the card front leaving middle one for the sentiment

9)  Stamp the sentiment from the same set in the middle square opening

10)  Add the stars on either side of the sentiment
