Striped Floral Happy Birthday Slimline Card

Hello and welcome!

I've been playing with black card stock over the past two days!  I made this card using the colors from the latest Color Throwdown Challenge #608:

Here's another look at my card:

I stamped and heat embossed the large floral image from Simon Says Stamp's "Beautiful Flowers" then fussy cut one side of it out.  I took a slimline size piece of white cardstock and stenciled stripes with a Creative Devotion stencil, down the length of it with Distress Oxide inks.  Then I added the floral image and cut it with a Pinkfresh Studio diagonal stitched slimline die.  I cut the larger slimline die in black for a mat.

Then I adhered it to my card base and added 3 tiny hearts on the sentiment.  The sentiment is a digital stamp from Polka Dot Orchard called "Birthday Monsters," printed in reverse color.

Here's a look at the sentiment with the tiny hearts from a Simon Says Stamp die called "Heart Breeze."
