Hello and welcome!
I tried a new technique today, coloring with colored pencils on black card stock.
I have seen several cardmakers use this technique and it always looked so gorgeous so I decided to give it a try. I think it is a gorgeous way to create a very dramatic card!
Here's a couple of closer looks at my card:
I first stamped the Pinkfresh Studio Floral Cluster stamp on black card stock with Delicata "Celestial Copper " pigment ink, see below:
Next I colored the image with Prismacolor pencils and then re-stamped the image with Versamark embossing ink and heat embossed it with gold embossing powder. I trimmed the edges down a little and then added a thin white strip of cardstock underneath a heat embossed sentiment strip of vellum.
The sentiment is from Gina K Designs Scripty Sayings 1 stamp set.
Lastly I added gems (turned upside down) in the flower centers.
Here's one last look at my card:
I hope you like my card, let me know what you think in the comments below!
I've linked my supplies below if you are interested.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
