Guest Designing for Inkspirational Challenge - Power

Hello and welcome!  I'm exciting to be guest designing today at Inkspirational Challenge for their new "Power" Challenge.  Thanks so much for inviting me!

Here'w the word prompt:

When I think of power, I think of the power of prayer!  I also need lot of encouraging cards as I belong to a group that showers people in need with cards, prayers and encouraging thoughts.
Today's card will go into my "encouragement" card stash!

To make my card I used Winnie and Walter's Big Band Peppermint Zone Creative Screening, Joy Clair Chain Breaker stamp set, Joy Clair God's Love stamp set, Distress Oxide Inks in yellows and oranges, gray alcohol markers, a stitched rectangle die by Tutti Designs, foam tape and white and black card stock.  Both stamp sets from Joy Clair are from their Color by Faith Bible Journaling stamps series.

Here's a closer look at my card:

I hope you have time to join in the Inspirational "Power" Challenge!  I can't wait to see how you interpret the prompt word!  There's so many different ways to think of the word "power."

Thanks again to Marina and the whole amazing design team member for inviting me to guest design for this challenge!  I'm so very honored!  Be sure to stop by the Inkspirational challenge blog to see the fabulous design team inspiration!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

  1. Your card is full of energy! I love the way you've made it look like you've stamped the images off the centre panel- nicely done.I love all that yellow. Thank you for being a wonderful Guest Designer at Inkspirational.

  2. Wow! The power is obvious in your card with the chains, and bold yellow color, and least of all that dynamic sentiment! Your really nailed this one. Congrats on the guest DT position! It is great having you design with us at Inkspirational!
