Hello and welcome! I'm here today with some inspiration for this week's Just Us Girls "Outdoor" Challenge hosted by Sue! Here's the graphic for Word Week:
We also have a special guest designer this month, Hannelie Bester - check out her amazing blog Desert Diva. I'm such a huge fan of her work and so excited she will be designing here with us!
For my card, I used the Darice Wood embossing folder for the background on brown card stock. Then I stamped the Great Impressions "Dog & Bird" stamp and colored it with Leisure Arts colored pencils. The sentiment is from Plus "Doodle Buds" stamp set.
I cut out the dog image and sentiment with a cross stitched circle die then cut of part of the right side and added it to the embossed background then added that to a white card base. Here's a closer view:

If that image isn't absolutely darling! Love that little red heart on the puppy dog's chest! Great job as always Angie! Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteHA! A dog in a tree would be pretty funny to see. My cat is bad enough! :)
ReplyDeleteSo cute and yes, I have known a few dogs who did go up trees.
ReplyDeleteThat image is adorable and your coloring is fantastic! Love the wood background, too. Great design!
ReplyDeleteCute as Angie. Beautifully coloured and fabulous layout. Love the embossed background.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute image, Angie, and what great pencil coloring.
ReplyDeleteApologies for my late visit; it's one of those hectic here-there-and-everywhere kind of weeks that I think will extend throughout the summer! Echoing in the others in oohing and ahhing over your sweet image! A puppy up in a tree is simply toooo cute! As for your colouring: WOW!
