Just Us Girls Week #416 Color Challenge

Hi there and welcome!  I'm here today with some inspiration for this week's color challenge hosted by Vicki!  Check out the blog for our guest designer, Karola, and all the DT creations!

This card is similar to one I made in 2016 only the colors were lighter.
You can see it here:  2016 Monster Card.

I used lots of Distress Inks in shades of purples to ink the spooky night sky, then splashed water droplets on it.  I cut some patterned paper from Gina K Designs with Lawn Fawn Meadow borders dies and adhered them to the bottom, then placed the black monsters made with Lawn Fawn's Monster Mash stamps and dies into the blade of grass, some popped up with foam tape.  I added the flying monster, and the sentiment which was heat embossed in white.  The checked strip on the left is also from a Gina K Designs paper pack.  Lastly I added Nuvo Glitter Drops in the sky for stars.
I had so much fun making this silly monster card!

Here's another view:

Just a reminder: If you win Chic of the Week in any of our October challenges, you are in the running to be chosen as our Guest Designer for the month of January!  We can't wait to see what you create for Just Us Girls! Please limit your entries to 3.
