Thank you cards with SSS Floral Sparkle Die

I was playing in the cave with watercolor panels and new goodies from Simon Says Stamp.  I used the new SSS Floral Sparkle Die, Script Thanks Die, Thoughtful Messages stamp set, and Nuvo Jewel Drops to create these quick and easy thank-you cards for my stash.  Seems like I'm always need them!  Thanks so much for stopping by!

I will enter one in the:

Hero Arts Unicorn Stamp & Cut with Deco Pattern Stencil

I'm over at the a2zscrapbooking blog with a fun unicorn card made with new Hero Arts products!  I used the Hero Arts Deco Pattern Stencil SA105 with Clarity Stencil brushes and Distress Inks in rainbow order around the edges of the card base, then cut out a large scalloped circle with a border from the center.  I mounted the border on a black stitched circle die and framed it with a larger black circle border and glued that to the inside of the card.  I came back and place a larger scalloped circle frame in black around the opening in the front of the card.  I stamped and cut the unicorn from Hero Arts Unicorn Stamp & Cut DC208 and colored them with Spectrum Noir markers then adhered them to the black circle.  I heat embossed the sentiment from the same set in Hero Arts white embossing powder at the bottom of the black circle.  I added Spectrum Noir sparkle pen to the unicorn and little dots of Nuvo glitter drops to the scallops on the inside and outside of the card.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  The a2z store is filling up with lots of the new products from the latest Hero Arts catalog, so go check them out and if you need to save a little money, use the code Angie15 to save 15% on your purchase of $25 or more (excluding shipping)!

We have a challenge going on HERE and I hope you can join in the fun and maybe be the lucky winner of the $25 gift card to the store!  There's just a little time left to enter!

Happy Stamping!

Simple and Quick 4th of July cards....

Here are two more quick cards I made this morning for the 4th of July upcoming holiday!
This first one was made with fireworks paper from an older Simon Says Kit and the heat embossed sentiment is from Rubbermaker Stamps "Make a Joyful Noise".  I think the sound of fireworks brings lots of people much joy!

I will enter the first one in:

And here's the 2nd card I made with the negative from the scalloped circle die cut.  This sentiment is from Reverse Confetti's "Because of the Brave".

Zipper Top Secret Messages

Today I pulled out my Mama Elephant Zipper die and the stamps that go with it "Just a Note" to make 2 cards for family members.  I used Hero Arts OWH Lil Hoot stamp set for both cards.
I also plan to enter this first one in the A Blog Named Hero Interactive Challenge.

The hidden message under the pull tab is "I Love You Just the Way You Are".  I used a couple of circle dies from my stash for the dots and for masking so I could ink them with an ink dauber and some teal ink.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Prickly Before Coffee

One more entry for the Summer Coffee Lover's Blog hop.....doing my part to make sure they get tons and tons of cards for this one!  I used the new Newton's Nook "Cuppa Cactus" stamp set.  I stamped it on some patterned paper from my stash and colored it with Zigs, then die cut the sun die from MFT in the patterned paper and then out of orange and red fun foam.  I stacked them for dimension and then added a few layered, inked, stacked punched clouds to complete my card.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Olive You, You Monkey!

I used Paper Smooches "Smoocheroos" stamp set to make this cute card for a family member in hopes of cheering him up.  We've had a rough few days, since we had to put the love of our lives, Maggie, our sweet Springer Spaniel down.  I wrote a tribute to Maggie on my blog a few days ago and it has helped me a lot to go back and read it.  We all really loved her so much!
I hope this will cheer him up!

I also used card stock from Gina K Designs, a scalloped punch, tie embossing folder, black ink, score board and scoring tool, and Spectrum Noir markers.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

CASology Guest Designer - New Challenge Theme FLY

Hi and thanks so much for stopping by.  I'm very excited to be invited again to guest design at CASology today for their new challenge:

I had a lot of fun making this card and plan to send it to a family member!
Here are the details:
I used Avery Elle "Sending" set for the heart and dotted lines, the bird is from Newton's Nook set called "Birthday Flutter", and the sentiment is from The Cat's Pajamas "Home Tweet Home" set.  After stamping the images, I die cut the shape with a die from my stash.  I then used Post-It notes to mask off the heart, bird and clouds (I used a cloud punch) and used lots of different colors of blue and teal ink with a sponge dauber to color the sky and background.  I then cut the same shape out of the front of the card and inset the colored shape into the opening.  I heat embossed the sentiment and cut a little banner for contrast.  The bird and heart were colored with Zig Clean Color Brushes.

Thanks so much for stopping by!  It's an honor to be get to guest design again with the CASology challenge!  I love how their challenges really make you put your thinking cap on and I LOVE all the gorgeous creative inspiration from the super talented design team!
Check out their creations this week here.
Thanks so much for asking me!

Bday Black & White plus 2 more

Hi and thanks for stopping by!  These cards were based on the sketch over at Freshly Made Sketches Challenge - see link and graphic below.  I will enter the black and white one in their challenge.  The others were made to boost up my bday card stash.  The background was made with Altenew Floral Layering Stencils A and B.  The purple and peach ones were inked and the black and white one was embossed with silver pearl embossing powder for stencil A and platinum embossing powder for stencil B.  The sentiment for that one is from Hero Arts "hello stamp and cut" and the birthday card sentiments come from Altenew Birthday Messages.

Fun in the Sun - Relax with Coffee

I used the Verve stamp set "Relax" for both sentiments and the palm tree, coffee cup die from Memory Box, Oval die from Sizzix, and sun die from Wplus9 Sunshine Layers die set.
I heat embossed both sentiments in white on black GKD card stock and colored the palm tree and cup with Spectrum Noir markers and glitter pens.  I will enter this in:
