Spellbinders January Release Birthday Card with Colorful Burst Flower

Hello and welcome - I have a fun larger card for you today using new products just released from Spellbinders.  I used:

I first embossed 2 large panels with the folder and then applied blue and purple ink directly (ink pad directly to paper) on one of the debossed sides and then on the other one, I pounded the same inks on the embossed side.  I cut the embossed (whiter) panel on the zig zag pattern and then lined it up to match on the larger blue (debossed) one.  I trimmed everything to fit a 5" by 7" card.

Next I die cut the Burst Flower set from white card and colored them with alcohol markers and a white gel pen.  I used greens for the leaves and the stem and lilacs and purples on the flower petals, then yellow on the middle of the flower.  Then I put everything together.

I glued the stem and leaves first to the background then I popped the flower up on foam tape.  The sentiment was one from my stash that I had cut into a strips and added dark purple marker on the edges to match the card.
