Cimbacreativefun: Birthday Cake Anytime with Riley and Company New Release

Hello and welcome! I have another new Funny Bones Sentiment from Riley and Company to share with you today! "Turns out you can just buy birthday cake anytime and eat it yourself. Who knew?"

To create this card I cut 3 of the pie slices from the RD584 "Give Me Pie" die set and colored them with alcohol markers and glued them together to create one slice of 3 layer birthday cake. Next I added "Fluffy Stuff" to simulate cream frosting and heat it up with my heat tool so it would puff up and look realistic. Here's a closer look:

Next I stamped both critters, cut them out and colored them. I also stamped and cut candles from the "Birthday Accessories" stamp/die set and 2 party hats from the "Starter Accessories" stamp/die set. Once cut, I colored them with alcohol markers and a white gel pen. I also added "Fluffy Stuff" to the pom moms on the top of the birthday hats.

I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment in white on black card stock and cut it into a square. Next I put it all together. First I added a patterned paper background to the card front, then added all the elements. The last think I added was the large piece of cake and I put it on top with foam tape.
