Hello and welcome! Today's a brand new release from Spellbinders and I am featuring a new collaboration set between Spellbinders and Simon Hurley called "Butterfly Kisses." It has some beautiful sentiments, butterflies and a large floral image.

And one more close up:
To make my butterflies look like stained glass I first heat embossed them on vellum with copper embossing powder. Next I colored the back of the vellum with alcohol markers, then added the butterflies to double sided adhesive paper. I took off the release paper and then put them on top of acetate. Then I cut them out with the coordinating dies.
I cut the 3 butterflies out of an A2 panel and then added that panel to another piece of acetate. I paper pieced each colored butterfly into the opening but only glued the body section down so I could elevate the wings for dimension. Then I added that whole panel to an A2 card base and added a few tiny gems on the butterflies and on the card.
Here's one last look:
I hope you like my card for today! I really enjoyed creating it and I have linked all my supplies below if you are interested. They are affiliate links at no extra cost to you.
I have a 2nd card using this same set that I will post a little later today, be sure to come back and see the beautiful large floral stamp in the set on my next card.
Thanks for stopping by!
