Hello and welcome! I'm up on the Coffeeloving Cardmakers blog today with another "Second Cup Sunday." Here's a close look at my card:
Here's how I made this mini slimline critter coffee card!
The cute bear is from the Colorado Craft Company "Chillin' with My Gnomies" stamp set, available from Super Sponsor Ellen Hutson. I stamped and colored the bear with Zig Clean Color markers and a water brush.
In the stamp set, he is really holding a gift box, but I covered it with the tiny coffee cup, which is from the same paper pad as the plaid paper. Both papers are from Super Sponsor the "Topflight Stamps" store and it's called "Paper Favorites-Coffee" from Denmark. It has the most beautiful papers in it. I actually cut the bear right where his hands were so I could slip the bottom of the coffee cup into his hands.
The sentiment is from Woodware Stamps (by Creative Expressions) "Cup of Love" stamp set. I cut the ovals with some dotted dies in my stash from tan and white card stock. To finish my card I added a double twine bow and a few red hearts.
Here's one last look at my card! I really love that plaid paper and that adorable bear!
I hope you like my card for today! Thanks so much for stopping by the blog today. Here's wishing you a week full of kindness and lots of coffee!
When words are both truth and kind, they can change the world....
