Hello and welcome! I'm here today with some mid-month inspiration for the August "Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge" sponsored by Trinity Stamps. They are offering a $40 gift card to one challenge participant chosen at random. Also if your card is chosen as a top pick you are invited to guest design with us!
This month's theme is cute critters! So your project should include the following:
Christmas theme
Caffeinated theme
Cute critter theme
For my card I use the Trinity Stamps tea cup/tea bag die (it was a freebie a while back) along with their Mini Slimline die set, and A Sentiment for Everything. I have linked my supplies below.
The cup was cut from black and and plaid and then pieced together, the plaid in the center and the outline in black. The cute critter is from Newton's Nook, colored with alcohol markers and colored pencils, and is popping out of the cup holding his tea bag.
The red heart is from the center of the white tea bag die cut, colored with a red marker. The sentiment was heat embossing in white on black card, then cut into a strip. The white border was made by cutting two of the mini slimline dies taped together. Lastly I added some red gems from Memory Box on the card and inside the tea bag heart.
Here's one last look at the card:
I hope you will have a chance to play along with this month's challenge! I can't wait to see what you make. Thanks so much for stopping by!
Fun and cute. Anyone receiving this will be charmed.
