Home Tweet Home with Creative Expressions

Hello and welcome!  I have a fun mini slimline card today featuring a brand new mini stencil from Creative Expressions called "Mini Trellis."  It's available at Scrapbook.com on sale for $2.25 HERE!

Here's another look:

To make my background I used 3 colors of Distress Oxide inks and kept moving the mini stencil around to cover white areas of the background.  There really was no rhyme or reason to what I was doing but I really like how it turned out.  I matted that panel on a black panel and then stamped the images and sentiment from the Sam Poole designed stamp set "Happy Home" with black ink and heat embossed them in clear.  Then I colored them with Zig Clean Color markers and fussy cut them out.

I also put glossy accents on the birds, here's a close up look:
