Have an Amazing Day with Creative Expressions

Hello and welcome!

I have a mini slimline card made with a brand newly released stamp set from Creative Expressions called "Jellyfish Blooms", available at Scrapbook.com.  It's a gorgeous jellyfish with lovely flowers combined.

Here's how I made this card:

1)  First stamp the image on Creative Expressions Vellum with embossing ink and heat emboss with metallic embossing powder.  (I used a silver color for mine.)

2)  Color the back of the vellum with alcohol markers, then add the vellum to a piece of Creative Expressions double sided adhesive.

3)  Remove the backing from the other side of the adhesive and adhere vellum to a 3" by 6 " card panel.

4)  Cut a black panel at 3 1/8" by 6 1/8" to for a mat for the jellyfish panel.

5)  Cut a card base at 3.5" by 6.5" and score at 3 1/4" and fold in half.

7) Add the black and jellyfish panels to the card base then add gems in the center of the flowers.

8)  Heat emboss the sentiment from Woodware Stamps "Birthday Strips" stamp set in white on black card, cut it into a strip, and pop it up on Woodware foam tape.

This card was very easy to make and I love the way it turned out.  The vellum gives a very soft look along with the metallic embossing - hope you will try this technique!
