Wishing Star with Creative Expressions Paper Panda Release

 

Hello and welcome!

There's a brand new release at Creative Expressions - the Paper Panda Release, with the most beautiful scene dies!  This one is called Wishing Star.

Here's a look at the colors I used for my background.  I think it's amazing what 2 colors of Distress Inks can create!!!

And after I die cut the die from black card stock, I added it to this smooshed watercolor paper.

Then I made an arched card base the same size as the die as you can see below.

If you've never done this, it's so easy!  When you put your die on the folded card base to run it through your die cutting machine, just make sure the top is slightly hanging of the edge of the side fold.

When you run it through, it will cut everything except the side fold, and ta-da, your card base has the new shape!  You can also do this on a top fold card base too, just hang top of the die off the edge of top fold.

I used copper and green metallic markers on the black card stock to highlight some of the parts of the die.

I just love this die, it's such a lovely design and makes really quick cards!
