Today We Celebrate You - Ice Cream Day

Hello and welcome!

I have a fun birthday card for you today made with new to me stamps "Ice Cream Day" from Colorado Craft Company and a sentiment from Creative Expressions "Birthday Strips" stamp set.

Here's another look at my card:

I stamped, heat embossed and colored the image with Zigs and a water brush.  I cut the image out with a Tutti Designs dotted square die and left the die on so I could ink blend some Speckled Egg Distress Oxide ink as a inner frame for the image. I added the square to the card base with foam tape.  Next, I stamped, heat embossed and cut the sentiment strip and popped it up on foam tape too.

To finish the card I added white gel pen to the images and Glossy Accents to the ice cream for shine and dimension.  Here's a close up look at the shine on the ice cream:
