So Glad You Were Born with MFT Stamps Woodland Friends

Hello and welcome!

I have a fun slimline critter card for you today made with critters from MFT Stamps "Woodland Friends" stamp set, dies from MFT Stamps & Sugar Pea Designs, Distress Oxide blended inks and sentiment strips from Simon Says Stamp.

Here's a closer look at the bottom of the card:

The images were stamped in black, heat embossed in clear, colored with alcohol markers and colored pencils, then cut out.  Each one is popped up in a frame made by cutting the MFT "Rectangle Peekaboo Window" die from the slimline top panel from black card stock and then running the black center piece through again with the smaller rectangle from the Sugar Pea Designs "For You Tag" die set.  This created a very thin frame in black to adhere to the slimline panel openings.

After inking the top portion of each white rectangle piece of white card stock, they were paper piece back into the openings and the critters were popped up on each one with foam tape.  The sentiments are both from Simon Says Stamp "Reverse Sentiment Strips" set, cut, with black marker on the outside edges and then popped up on foam tape.  Lastly I added a few dots here and there with a white gel pen.
