Papercuts Special Delivery Edger from Creative Expressions

Hello and welcome!

So happy to share this brand new die from Creative Expressions called "Special Delivery."

The Papercuts Edger dies are so beautiful and make gorgeous die cut cards!

Here's how I made my card:

 1)  On a 3.5" by 8.5" card stock panel, add 3 colors of Distress Oxide inks (Spun Sugar, Worn Lipstick, and a little Picked Raspberry) direct to card stock with ink pad, and then use a blending tool to smooth out any lines or marks.

2)  Generously spray and mist the panel with water to get lots of spots on the inked panel.

3)  Die cut the edger die in the center of a 8.5" by 5.5" panel of white card stock, then with scissors, use the top and bottom cut marks to trim the right side off the panel, creating the “edge."

4)  Using smaller pieces of scrap white card stock, cut more of just the hearts and flowers from the left side of the die.  

5)  Once removed, pop some the hearts and flowers into the top of your various jars of Cosmic Shimmer Colour Cloud Blending ink.  I used 3 colors of ink:  Crimson Kiss, Soft Cerise, and Rose Blush.  I used a poker to move the hearts around on the ink and then tweezers to pick them up.

6)  After they dry, on some of them, I added Frosty Sparkle Cosmic Shimmer Ultra Sparkle Paste with a small paint brush for some shine.  

7)  Paper piece the hearts back into the die cut openings, and even use two hearts, one the size of the opening and then a tiny one in different color to stacked on top for dimension.  

8)  Using a paint brush grab some color from your blending ink jars and add it to the hearts already part of the large die cut.

9)  Using the Woodward stamp set called "Boxed Greetings," stamp the sentiment and boxed frame in black ink.

10)  Assemble the card by adding the large white die cut to the pink inked panel with foam tape and then adhere that pink panel to the 8.5 by 3.5" slimline card base.
