Hello and welcome!
I have a card made with a brand new stamp set from Creative Expressions Designer Boutique called "Floral Bubbles." It's such a gorgeous stamp and it fills the whole card front.
I love the image so much I decided to not add a sentiment right now. Maybe I will add one at a later date but for now I like it with just the image!
Actually the image was stamped twice, once on the card panel and a second time so I could fussy cut out the fish and flowers, minus the bubbles.
Here's how I made this card:
1) Stamp in black ink and clear heat emboss the image twice and color the fish and flowers on one of them.
2) On the other ink blend the background with Distress Oxide Speckled Egg ink and color the water bubbles.
3) All images were colored with Zig Clean Color Markers and I added white gel pen to the bubbles.
4) Cut the blue inked bubble background panel to 3.5" by 5.5" and add it to the A2 card base.
5) Fussy cut the fish/flower panel and add black marker to the edges.
6) Using foam tape, pop the fish/flower image directly on the background lining it up with background.
7) Cut dark teal thin strips of card stock and add to either side of the top panel.
Here's a closer look at the dimension you get from popping up the fish/flower panel.
Here's a couple more views of my card:
I hope you like my card! I had so much fun making it!

Wow Angie, I just love this card and can see why you don't want to add a sentiment to it yet. I too wait on occasion. You did a super job on the colouring and adding the dimension makes it all pop beautifully. Love your talent.
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful and colorful.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely gorgeous and the colors are so beautiful! No sentiment needed with it in my opinion too!
ReplyDeleteThis is totally amazing. No wonder you don't want to have a sentiment on the front. It's a piece of art for sure.
ReplyDeleteAngie, this is a fantastic card. I love how you popped up the fish and flowers and then made your bubbles really stand out. Great work. Sentiments work just fine on the inside, so you don't cover anything up.
