Beautiful Day Slimline with Altenew - Video

Hello and welcome!

I have a slimline card made with some Altenew stamps/dies for both images, the background die and the heat embossed sentiment.  I also used circle dies from Tutti Designs and a slimline die from Pinkfresh Studio.   Here's a closer look at my card:

The background was die cut with both one of the "Diagonal Stitched 

Slimline" dies from Pinkfresh Studio and the "Dotted Swirls Debossing Cover Die" from Altenew.

Next it was inked with Tattered Rose, Picked Raspberry and Mustard Seed Distress Oxide inks.

To finish that panel, I splattered Distress Oxide Black Soot ink on it.

At first I was going to use flowers and leaves I had stamped and cut from Altenew's "Beautiful Day" set, but ended up only using the sentiment. I used the "Floral Vine" stamp set instead.

The circles on top of the background were cut from watercolor card stock panels that were ink-smooshed with the following Distress Ink colors:

Mustard Seed, Fossilized Amber, Picked Raspberry, Festive Berries, Mowed Lawn, Evergreen Bough, and Black Soot.  After they dried, I cut 3 different size circles with the "Dotted Circle Dies" from Tutti Designs.

After gluing the pink and yellow panel on the card base, I used temporary adhesive to attach the 3 circles, then with my stamping platform, I stamped both vine images from the "Floral Vine" set onto the 3 circles.

Then I removed them and stamped in the same place on the pink and yellow panel.

I colored the image with Zig marker watercolor makers, one alcohol marker and a couple of Spectrum Noir metallic markers.  I matched up the circles to the image on the pink and yellow panel, so it looks like 3 spotlights on my slimline card.  Lastly I added gold paint pen to the flower circles and a few around the card front.
