Happy Birthday Card with Altenew Beautiful Day & Embossing Paste

Hello and welcome!

Today I have a birthday card for you made with watercoloring and stamps from Altenew.

Here's a close up look at my card:

I watercolored the flowers and leaves after stamping and heat embossing them on watercolor card stock. I used Distress Inks (colors linked below) and Zen brushes along with a few Zig Clean Color markers.

After the watercoloring dried, I added colored pencil to add a little depth and then fussy cut them out.

The middle of the card was given texture by adding a combination of white glossy embossing paste with some re-inker drops from Distress Ink in Evergreen Bough.  I mixed it up really good to get a lighter turquoise color and then used a stencil (linked below) with the paste to get that cool background pattern and texture. 

Next after the embossing paste dried, I arranged the flowers and leaves on the edges of the embossing and then added a black strip with a white heat embossed birthday sentiment, also from Altenew.
