Today starts a brand new photo challenge at Just Us Girls and it's hosted by me.
Here's the photo I have chosen:
With all the craziness in the world, don't you just wish you were somewhere that looks like this!
Here's hoping we can all start traveling again and enjoy the beauty of the earth once again!
Here's a closer look at the photo itself:
Our special guest designer this month is Mugdha - check out her awesome creations!
We are so happy to have you with us this month!
And be sure to check out the rest of the design team! Once again, they have done an amazing job on their creations to inspire you this week!
For my card I inked a panel with Distress Oxide inks in blues, purples, pinks and oranges and then cut it with a Tutti Designs rectangle die. I also cut a piece of fun foam so I could pop it up for some dimension when I added it to my card. The die is from Cheapo Dies and it's one of my favorites of theirs. I just love the silhouette look you can get when you cut it from black.
I cut 3 and stacked them on top of each other for some depth and then trimmed and added a Simon Says Stamp sentiment strip to the bottom of the die cut.
Lastly I added some Studio Katia stars in the night sky with Tombow Mono glue.
Here's one last look:
I hope you will have time to enter this fun photo challenge!
