Find Your Happy Place with Lost Coast Designs

Hello and welcome!

Today's card features stamps from Lost Coast Designs, the newest sponsor for any bonus week challenges (if there are five Wednesdays in a month!) at Mod Squad Challenge.  Thanks so much to Joyce for inviting me back to host any 5th week of the month challenge there might be and thanks also to Lost Coast Designs for sponsoring the extra week, 5th week challenges!  The theme for this week is "Get Your Happy On!"

Any card or paper creation that is "happy" theme, such as Happy Birthday or other happy occasion, such as graduation, retirement, new baby, wedding, etc.  It can also be a card wishing happiness to the recipient too, with sentiments like "Wishing you a happy day!"  

For my card I used a gnome stamp - Lost Coast Designs Swinging Gnome along with a sentiment from Lost Coast Designs Sentiments.  I just love that little gnome swinging from the tree branch and the unique look of the sentiment with those squares for each letter.  It certainly looks like he has found his happy place!

Here's another look at this cute gnome:

I stamped the stamps with black ink, heat embossed them, and then colored them with a watercolor brush and watercolor markers.  Next I cut him out with a die and inked clouds and a little green grass at the bottom of the circle.  I added him to the card base and then added 3 fun star gems in the sky.
