Yappy New Year with Joy Clair Dog-Gone Christmas, New Year-New Me, and Happy Camper

Hello and welcome!

I'm up on the Joy Clair blog today with "Happy New Year" cards featuring these sets:

Joy Clair Happy Camper

Here's how I made my card:

1)  I stamped the dog, paw print notes and the small part os the sentiment from the Dog-Gone Christmas set and the "New Year" sentiment from New Year, New Me stamp set.

The trees are from a camping set called "Happy Camper."

2)  After coloring the images and adding snowdrifts to the bottom and blue sky to the top, I added white gel pen to the trees for a snowy look.  

3)  I used a dotted rectangle die to cut a smaller section to use on the top of my card and popped it up with foam tape on the card base.

4)  Next I die cut a few smaller snowflakes using a die from my stash, and added silver moon dust Nuvo drops to the snowflake centers.

Isn't that howling dog adorable???

I also had time to make another similar card using the same sets, only this time I masked off a moon in the top left corner and added more snow on the darker blue sky.

Just love this sweet pup's face too!

I hope you will check out the stamps at Joy Clair, the New Year setis really awesome because it also has numbers on it so you can use it for every new year, and also for numbered birthday cards!

I also love how you can combine the stamps from Joy Clair, like the sentiments from the Dog-Gone with the NewYear set.  Using the tree stamp from the Happy Camper set really made this card scene.
