Hello and welcome!
I'm here today with some cards made over the holiday weekend. We visited our daughter and friends and after dinner, we made cards from card bases and die cuts that I brought along with me on the trip.
The two card in the first picture were made from the leftovers of the cards and cuts. I stacked all the remaining word die cuts up on each other for a thick sentiment, and added the leftover snow flake dies to the card bases. Below you can see the thickness of the word die cut.
The card bases are from The Paper Studio, word dies from Winnie & Walter, and snow dies are from Memory Box called Silent Snowflake Frame and Frostyville Border. I recently purchased the Silent Cabin from Memory Box and can't wait to combine more of these dies on cards!
One of my favorite cards was this one below, made by my daughter. I just love how she added that little snowflake to the center of the "O" and love the plaid note card she chose!
Between the card and tag making and the puzzles we worked on that day, we were able to keep busy and not just snack on leftovers all day!!! Plus it helped us get ready for Christmas!
Thanks so much for stopping by!

LOVE both of these. You are the queen of plaid, my friend. Stacking up those die cuts is GENIUS!!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea, Angie, to have taken along the makings for the cards and tags. Sitting together, creating, is such a bonding experience, isn't it? And, bonus, you all wound up with gorgeous creations. Thanks so much for joining our Watercooler Wednesday Challenge this week.
ReplyDeleteLovely cards. Love the plaids and white. Thank you for sharing with us over here at the Crafty Calendar Challenge and best of luck with your entry. Love to see you join in each month. Thank you.
