Happy Little Stampers November CAS Challenge - Fairy Tale

Hello and welcome!

I here with some inspiration for you for the Happy Little Stampers November CAS Challenge:

FANTASY!

Our winner for this challenge will receive a $20 coupon to spend at the shop! Check out all the details HERE.

IF YOU USE STAMPS BY HAPPY LITTLE STAMPERS AND YOU ARE OUR RANDOM WINNER, YOUR PRIZE WILL BE DOUBLED!

For my card I use the paper piecing technique on this adorable fairy named Aby from Rubbernecker stamps.   I heat embossed the image to help it stand out more.  Her wand star is made of silver glitter paper.  The sentiment is from a MFT stamp set heat embossed in white on black card stock.  I also paper pieced her wings with polka dotted vellum and added tons of sparkle to them with a sparkle pen.  You can see the sparkle better in the picture below:

In this picture below, you can see the heat embossing better:

The plaid paper is from The Paper Studio.  I used it for the heart, her skirt and two inside edges of the card.  Below you can see that the top of the card is not as wide as the inside and the plaid that shows through is actually adhered to the inside.

I had so much fun making this card!
I hope you will stop by everyone's blogs to see their creations for this month's challenge!
Check out the details:  HERE!
I can't wait to see what you make!

I will enter this in:

  8. Haaah :-)) Angie, I love your sweet fairy. She looks so familiar, not like the perfection of the fortune tellers "big ladies". I love your card, she made me smile :-))
