Hello and welcome!
There's a brand new challenge over at Just Us Girls this week - it's Word Week!
Our host this week is the wonderful Nancy, and she has chosen the word:
Sympathy
I hope you stop by the JUGS blog and see what our wonderful guest designer, Linda Snodgrass and the whole team has prepared to inspire you!
Sympathy
I hope you stop by the JUGS blog and see what our wonderful guest designer, Linda Snodgrass and the whole team has prepared to inspire you!
For my card, instead of the usually sympathy greetings of sorry for your loss, etc., I decided to use the sentiment "Sending hugs" because after all, isn't a handmade card sent to a loved one really just a big hug? For whatever reason, sympathy, depression, poor health, bad times, and even good times, sometimes you just need to send hugs, so that's what my card focuses on!
Supplies used:
Altenew Wild Hibiscus stamp set
Striped paper from Papertrey Ink
Alcohol markers
Altenew Snowing stamp set
Versafine Clair Ink
Memento Tuxedo Black Ink
Sending die from Simon Says Stamp
Black and white card stock from Gina K Designs
Silver Glitter Nuvo Drops

Yes, hugs are an essential part of life, whether we're feeling down or in the best of spirits. Your card is beautiful; a lovely arrangement of flowers! Wish I would have considered the 'hugs' path in creating my card...And speaking of hugs...sending some to youuuuu!
