Dry Embossing with Watercoloring and Metallic Paste


Hello and welcome!

I'm here today with 2 fall cards made from the same panel.  I dry embossed a piece of watercolor paper and then watercolored it with Kuretake watercolors in fall colors and a watercolor brush.
After it dried, I took a little metallic paste and rubbed it over the watercolor to help give more definition and dimension to the embossed/watercolored piece.
I then cut the circle out and another circular frame from dies in my stash, for this first card and made a little tag for the heat embossed greeting (from Hero Arts.)  Lastly I added a few Nuvo Jewel drops. 


For the second card, I used the rest of the embossed/watercolored piece and cut it down a little, framed it with a slightly larger brown piece of card stock, then added it to a white card base.

I cut the Simon Says Stamp "Sending" die from white card stock and then white heat embossed the rest of the sentiment, which is from the 2017 Hero Arts September kit.  And of course, I finished it off with some Nuvo Jewel drops.
