Dry Embossing with Watercoloring and Metallic Paste

Hello and welcome!

I'm here today with 2 fall cards made from the same panel.  I dry embossed a piece of watercolor paper and then watercolored it with Kuretake watercolors in fall colors and a watercolor brush.
After it dried, I took a little metallic paste and rubbed it over the watercolor to help give more definition and dimension to the embossed/watercolored piece.
I then cut the circle out and another circular frame from dies in my stash, for this first card and made a little tag for the heat embossed greeting (from Hero Arts.)  Lastly I added a few Nuvo Jewel drops.

For the second card, I used the rest of the embossed/watercolored piece and cut it down a little, framed it with a slightly larger brown piece of card stock, then added it to a white card base.

I cut the Simon Says Stamp "Sending" die from white card stock and then white heat embossed the rest of the sentiment, which is from the 2017 Hero Arts September kit.  And of course, I finished it off with some Nuvo Jewel drops.

Three Encouragement "Thinking of You' Cards

Hello and welcome!

Here's 3 more encouragement "Thinking of You" cards for my stash.
All were made with the following supplies:

Gina K Designs card stock
Gina K Designs Amalgam In
Gina K Designs Scripty Sayings 2
Gina K Designs Whimsical Wildflowers
Patterned Paper from my stash
Gems and or pearls from my stash
White gel pen
Black fine tip marker

This first one was colored with shade yellows and greens (alcohol markers) and I added a wood patterned paper border and pearls.

Next one in softer yellows and teal with plaid border, and pearls - this one is my fav:

And the last one with oranges and teal, with dark orange gems filled with pearls.
I used the wood border on the top and bottom this time.  This one is my least favorite, mostly because I'm not a fan of orange and those gems look just a little weird to me!  hahaha!

Wish You the Most Beautiful Day with Diamond Gems

Hello and welcome!

I had a little time to play in the cave today and I made more encouragement cards from my stash.  I seem to always run out of these so I am determined to build up my stash!

I used two Altenew sets on these:  Beautiful Day, and Peony Bouquet
These stamp sets are so gorgeous, they practically make the card FOR you1

Other supplies used:  Gina K Designs card stock, Hero Arts, Reverse Confetti, and Distress inks along with diamond gems from my stash.

Here's a look at my favorite of the two - don't know why, they both were made the same way!

Two Cards - Sending Hugs & Happy Thoughts

Hello and welcome!

Today I was playing with some new to me goodies I received in a recent prize package from Altenew - Altenew Beautiful Day stamps set and Fine Frames Cover die.

I made two cards, one was one layer and the other with the frames die had several layers.
Here's my one layer card:

I used Hero Arts pink ink and Reverse Confetti Flamingo ink for the flowers, Distress Inks for the leaves and black Nuvo drops on this first one.  All images and sentiment were stamped with Gina K Designs Amalgam black ink.  I also outlined the image in a very light beige for some shadow on this one.  Here's a closer view:

For the 2nd card I used 5 pieces of the frames die together to make the edge for the images.
I used all the same inks, except I used yellow for the smaller flowers on this card and Nuvo Jewel drops in strawberry.  Here's my 2nd card:

Copper Laminate Layered Leaves Thank You Card

Hello and welcome!

Today I was playing with some copper laminate from my stash.  I bought this roll about 2 summers ago and have used it for lots of cards and still have tons left!  I peel it off the roll and add it to card stock.  For this card I die cut the Simon Says Stamp "Thanks" die and the MFT "Layered Leaves" dies from it.  I also cut several in black for outlines and to help it pop against the white card stock.

The "Thanks" is popped up on foam tape for more dimension.
Here's a closer look:
