Hello and welcome! I'm here today with my DT card for the new challenge over at Just Us Girls this week. Our host for the color challenge is the wonderful Bobby and here's what she has chosen:
Stop by the JUGS blog to see what our guest designer, Julie Beech and the whole design team has to inspire you this week!
So for my choice, I picked turquoise! No surprise there as I seem to gravitate to that color a lot!
Here's the supplies I used:
Studio Katia Floral Cross stamp set
Joy Clair "You've Got This" stamp set for the sentiment
Versafine Clair Nocturne ink with clear embossing powder
Copic markers and Spectrum Noir sparkle pen
Distress Black Soot Ink for splatters
A circle stencil from my stash with light turquoise ink
White card stock
Here's another view of my card:
I hope you have a chance to play - can't wait to see what your color choice will be!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Beautiful colored image!
ReplyDeleteSo very gorgeous with those wonderful colors. I love that image too.
ReplyDeleteThis is so pretty. LOVE what you have done with this challenge, your image is colored perfectly and this is such a great design. Well done!
ReplyDeleteA great image that you have colored so beautifully, Angie.
ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous! That image is beautiful and I love you colored it with the challenge colors. That sentiment is awesome and I love how you stenciled and splattered the background.
ReplyDeleteThe soft turquoise stencilling is so subtle but I think it would be missed if it wasn't there. Great use of the colours. :)
ReplyDeleteThis is so pretty Angie! I have not seen this image before. Your coloring and the splatter background looks fabulous! You nailed this color challenge!
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful card Angie. Amazing colouring and what a super sentiment. Cool splatters!
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely version of this SK image; the turquoise is a perfect companion to coral/grey. I see you've used Versafine Clair ink. Thoughts? I bought 6 pads yesterday; hope they're as awesome as the various reviews claim they are (yes...buying one would have made more sense, but...when I can shop 'in real life' I go for it *grin*)
