Happy Little Stampers October Watercolor Challenge - My Friend with Gold

Hello and welcome!

I'm here today with my design team card for Happy Little Stampers October Watercolor Challenge!
It's anything goes with an optional twist: Gold

For my card I used techniques I learned from Erum Tasneen's videos on watercoloring.  She is such an amazing artist and I love her videos and watching her watercolor.  I'm excited to be taking a watercolor class starting later this month with a local artist in a class with a good friend!
It's a 5 week, one night a week class and I can't wait!

Supplies used for my card are:
Arches Cold Pressed Watercolor Paper
Kuretake watercolors with waterbrush
Zig Clean color markers with waterbrush
White and black card stock
Striped patterned paper from Papertrey Ink

Grateful Fall Leaves with Watercolor and Lindy's Magicals

Hello and welcome!

I am working on several cards today and had a little time to post one of them.

I watercolored some watercolor paper with Distress Inks, then added some Lindy's Magicals for shine and more fall colors.  I cut the Neat & Tangled Maple Leaf die set out of the kraft panel and then again out of brown. I reinserted the kraft ones into the openings and then added the brown outlines to help them pops.  I added watercolor/Lindy Magical pieces behind the openings and then adhered that panel to the card base.  The grateful die is from Simon Says Stamp. For the outline I cut, 2 brown, 1 watercolor paper, and the inside word was cut from the Lindy's Magicals extra piece.  I offset the outlines so the brown was showing just a little behind the watercolor outline piece.

I cut just a little off the bottom of the kraft piece before I added it to the card base and added a really thin strip of the brown under the kraft piece.

Happy Birthday with Altenew Inspiration

Hello and welcome!

I had just a little time to craft today in between working with local orchestras today.

I love kids and music, so days like this are very fun - but it's ALWAYS nice to return to my craft room!

I have a floral card today using Altenew Persian Motifs, Birthday Greetings stamp sets, along with a Brutus Monroe mask, Distress Inks, Alcohol markers, black/white card stock, white embossing powder and sequins from my stash.

Hope for World Peace

I had a little time to play today in the cave and I made this card with a few challenges in mind.

The Paper Players has a sketch challenge and AAA Cards challenge is "Imagine", so I used the sketch to make a card that imagines world peace.
