Hello and welcome!
I had so much fun playing with the Flora and Fauna "Love Bug" stamp set! I wanted to make a card reminiscent of the 70's with crazy bright colors and a happy feel.
I took the background daisy die-cut from the Hero Arts Layering Daisy die set, cut in black and used it to mast off the center of a card base. I used Distress Oxide inks over a Winnie & Walter Big Band Peppermint Zone stencil to make a large colorful swirl. I was going to put the car in that center, but it got lost in the white sections of the swirl, so I decided to adhere the center of the daisy background as a frame for the car. I used the tiny flower and heart from that same stamp set to fill in the colored sections of the swirls.
I added a stitched Memory Box circle die then added the car in the center. I had colored the card using a water brush and some of the Distress Oxide inks, then added some shading with Zig Clean Color Markers. I then masked off the yellow hood section so I could add flowers, and added 2 hearts to the headlights.
The sentiment was heat embossed on the strip of black card stock and it's from Hero Arts "Happy" stamp and cut set.
