Hello and welcome! I'm here today with my card for the new challenge over at Just Us Girls!
Vicki is our host and here's the challenge graphic:
And here's a closer look at the inspiration:
For my card I inked the background with Distress Oxide ink in Fossilized Amber then cut out 8 little square with a stitched die from my stash. I also cut the squares from lots of black and white patterned paper and fill the holes with them. The sentiment is stacked quite high with 8 layers to give it dimension and the die is from Simon Says Stamp. I added the panel to a card base and then added two very thin strips of black card stock to the right and left side.
I hope you will have time to join our challenge this week and see what our guest designer, Karren Johnson, and the whole team have made for your inspiration! Check it out here: HERE
Thanks so much for stopping by!
I will enter this in:
Two ways Yellow/stripes and thanks and Thanks/free/floral
WOW! A striking card in every way, Angie! Love the inlaid patterns; very clever to place them at an angle! The raised 'thanks' is wonderfully eye-catching!
