Warm Wishes with a Hat and Mittens

Hello and welcome!  Hope your weekend has been great!  Sending good vibes to my daughter, who was in a car accident yesterday....she's fine - thank God!   ....but her poor "paid for" card was towed off as it was not drivable.....thankful no one was hurt and hoping her car can be repaired.  Life is full of surprises and in an instant things can change - a little or a lot - so you just never know.
Thank God everyone was okay and thank God for police, first responders, and insurance people who deal with this every day.  The police were there (in Houston) in a matter of minutes - amazing!
We are so fortunate to have kind caring people at our insurance company, too, that take care of business for us!  Drive safe my friends, there are lots of crazy drivers out there!

Now on to my card....I made a quick winter card using MFT's "Hand Written Holiday" sentiment along with Hero Arts Kelly's Mitten stamp and cut set.  I took a card base and added plaid paper from my stash on the left side and stamped the sentiment in black.  Then I stamped and die-cut the hat and mittens before coloring them with alcohol markers.  I attached the mittens with a metal heart embellishment and popped the hat hanging over the sentiment up on foam dots for dimension.  A quick and easy card that I really needed to send to someone who is freezing in this crazy weather we are having!

Thanks so much for stopping by and hope you have a great upcoming week!
