Happy Little Stampers January Challenge Thanks for Everything

'
Hello and Happy New Year!  I hope your year is off to a great start!

I'm here today with my DT card for the Happy Little Stampers Anything Goes with Dies January Challenge!   We have new and exciting things happening at HLS this year!
I hope you will join us this month.

I used Happy Little Stampers "Village Die" along with Happy Little Stampers "Simply Said" stamp set to make this Thank You card.  I plan to give it to some folks who showed us such sweet hospitality recently.  I thought that row of houses die was perfect for this!  I cut a piece of plaid patterned paper (from Papertrey Ink) for the top layer and cut the Simon Says Script Thanks outline die out of it, then pieced the opening with a black one.  The skinny thanks die was cut from white and adhered to the top of it.  Then I cut one black and one white village die and layered them offset a little to create a shadow.  I trimmed down the top panel and attached it to a white card base with a little of the white showing below.  I added a thin black strip at the bottom of the village to give it more definition.   Lastly I added the white heat embossed banner stamped with "for everything" from the HLS Simply Said stamp set.  I don't know why I love black and white so much - it's one of my favorite looks!

I hope you will join the fun at HLS ATG w/ Dies this month!

Our winner for this challenge will receive a $20 coupon to spend at the shop! Plus if you use Happy Little Stampers products the prize is doubled!  We also have opportunities to guest design with us too!  Check out all the details HERE.
