Plaid and Snowflake Cards


Hello and welcome!  I played in the cave today and made a couple of similar cards, one to enter in the 2017 Winter Coffee Lover's Blog Hop and another Christmas card.


I've been wanting to use patterned paper on an angle like this since I saw my friend Bobby's card HERE.  I just loved the look of those angles and it had been a long time since I had done a layout like that so today's the day.  Thanks to Bobby for the inspiration!

Both cards were made with paper from The Paper Studio, (the plaid and the snow pattern), dotted ribbon from May Arts, and stamps from Joy Clair sets:  Coffee Quotes and Coffee Lovers.

This first card, the coffee one, was stamped and paper pieced and I added the "coffee" which was kraft card stock covered in sparkle pen.

The second card sentiment is a die from Impression Obsession and I cut 2 black and one plaid and stacked them on top of each other.  I really like the look of the gray snow paper with that plaid.
