A2Z Scrapbooking November Challenge Winter

It's a new challenge for the month of November over at a2zscrapbooking!
Winter!

For my card I used a digital set sold exclusively at the a2zscrapbooking store called "Winter Forest".

I dry embossed birch tress on a panel of Gina K Cardstock then stamped the sentiment from Hero Arts "Christmas Messages" in Hero Arts brown ink.  I stamped it with my Misti so I could get a really dark sentiment!   Here's another picture of the embossing up close:

I printed out the little reindeer form the "Winter Forest" digital set, then cut him out with my Scan n Cut.  I was in a hurry so I used the deer that was already colored.  All I did to him was make his nose darker red and added some Red Nuvo drops to it for some shine!

I trimmed down the embossed panel and added a strip of plaid paper from the Echo Park "I Love Christmas" 6" by 6" paper pack, added the embossed panel to the Gina K card base, then popped the deer up on some foam tape.  After he was adhered, I added a little shadow under his feet with some alcohol markers.  This card was super fast and easy!

I hope you will take the time to join our November Winter Challenge and remember you do not have to use Hero Arts to enter.  Check out all the new rules HERE and click on "Current Monthly Challenge" tab on the top!  Have fun and thanks so much for stopping by!
