Hello and welcome! I had some fun time in the cave today!
I made this card with stamps and dies from Waffle Flower "Leafy" set. It's one of my favorite sets - I just love the flowers and leaves in it. After I die cut them, I colored them with Spectrum Noir markers. I cut a cross stitch partial circle out of white card stock and lightly stamped it with a older large grid background stamp from Hero Arts, then mounted that circle on a black circle and onto the card base. I stamped the sentiment from the same set, then added the flowers, some are popped up with foam tape. I had a lot of fun making this card today and am building back up my stash of thank you cards! Here's another view of it:
I will enter this in:
It such a pretty card Angie. I love the grid on your circle.
ReplyDeleteThese flowers are so fun and cute. I love the design of them in the circle. Thanks for your reply about the copper. I hope I can find some at some point. It makes a fantastic card.
ReplyDeleteLove how you used a grid for your background--and restricted it to a circle and preserved so much white space. This is a lovely card. Thanks so much for playing along at CASology this week.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful use of the grid as a background, Angie! It's always great to see your cards in the CASology gallery!
