I have another card for the 2017 Fall Coffee Lover's Blog Hop. This hop is always so much fun and has so many people participating. It's really great to go see all the cards created for this hop!
This card was made with my favorite embossing folder "Leaves" by Darice. I love the way it embosses so deeply and the patterns just make me smile! (It's only $1.64 at Amazon HERE, as an add-on item.) I tried to position the cup right below a big swirl to make it look like steam coming out of the cup! The cup is from Gillian Vance's "Tea Time" colored with Spectrum Noir markers and fussy cut it out. I also added Gelly Roll glitter pen to the white parts of the cup but it's kind of hard to see. The leaves and acorn are from Poppy Stamps "Falling for You" stamp and die set also colored with the same markers. Some of them are popped up like the cup with foam tape. I used those markers to make an ombre looking strip for the left side. The sentiment from Gillian Vance's "Simply Said Perk Up" stamp set, heat embossed in clear on white card stock that I later inked to match. The burgundy ink was so dark it actually turned the embossed area kind of pink! I wiped and wiped but it just wouldn't come off!
I tried to capture the glitter on the cup in the next pictures, but you still can't really see it!
Thanks for stopping by and I hope your weekend is great!
