Tulle Heart Tree Celebration


Hi and thanks so much for stopping by today.  This card was made by cutting a large heart in the GKD card stock panel using the largest die from Concord & 9th "Heart Strings" die set and covering the opening with white tulle.  I then cut the "Heart Tree" die by Tutti Designs from some pink Reverse Confetti card stock.  I place a piece of black card stock behind the tulle, then adhered the pink heart to the tulle.  I heat embossed the sentiment from Simon Says "Floral Bliss" stamp set in black on vellum then attached the strips to the white panel.  Then I added the white panel to the card base adding a strip of striped patterned paper and a thin black card stock strip on the left side.  I really like the look you get with the tulle under the intricate heart die.  Here are some close up views:
