Love is All You Need

There is still just a little time to enter this months a2zscrapbooking challenge for May:

Here I've used the Love Stamp and Die set DC175 for my sentiment and the Hero Arts Deco Pattern Stencil SA105 with some embossing paste.  I die cut the 6 love dies, 3 from watercolored paper that I used Distress Oxide Inks on, and 3 black ones for shadows.  I've also used Hero Arts white embossing powder and a strip of pattern paper from my stash.  I added some shimmer to the die cuts with Spectrum Noir glitter pen.

I hope you will have time to join the challenge - just remember to use one main Hero Arts product! You could win a $25 gift card to the a2z store!

And remember to use code Angie15 to get 15% off your purchase of $25 or more!

Here's my list of supplies:
Embossing Paste
Spectrum Noir Shimmer pen
Distress Oxide Inks
Patterned paper from my stash

Let's Celebrate Your Birthday!

Another fun bday card made with Altenew's Birthday Greetings stamp set along with the Simon Says Stamp Fireworks stencil.  I stenciled each color 2 times, the 2nd time, I moved the top of the stencil over just a bit to create a cool double effect at the top.  The center of each is a rain stone from Papertrey Ink, and the patterned paper down the side is from the latest SSS June kit.

I will enter this and wish the happiest of birthdays to:
Woo hoo!  Congratulations!!!

Long Time to Grow a Friend

I made this card for a friend and here's how I did it:
I started with some watercolored paper and added Tim Holtz stencil with Distress Oxide inks on top of it, added little black enamel accents in the flower centers, then added it to a Reverse Confetti pink card stock, with a tiny strip of black.  The sentiment is also from Reverse Confetti's "Posted Note Sentiments".

Celebrate in Black and White and 1 Color

This is the last card I made with the new Simon Says June kit today and it's my fav.  I used watercolor paper from the kit and stamps from the Floral Bliss stamp set it came with.  I colored some flowers with Zigs, then heat embossed the sentiment on a black strip of card stock.  I added a strip of patterned paper from the kit down the left side.  Very plain, but I love how striking a black and white card looks!  Thanks for stopping by and Happy Weekend!

Watercolor Bliss and another CASE card....

I made several cards with the SSS June kit today.....here are 2 of them, one is original and the second is a CASE of Heather Ruwe's card in the sample flyer that comes in the kit.

I received me SSS June kit today and I've played with it more in one day than I have the last 2 kits!  I haven't even touched the last kit because of those animation stamps - I got that kit thinking it would be fun to make those kind of cards for my grandkids, but after watching a few videos on YouTube, I've decided it's going into my destash pile....too much work for not much excitement in a card!  Give me CAS any day!

For my first card all the supplies came from the kit except the watercolor background and the white embossing.

Here's a link to Heather Ruwe's card:  CARD I CASED

Here's the CASE of Heather Ruwe's card:

Everything came from the kit for this second card except the heart dies and white embossing.

I'm really glad I got this kit because it has beautiful papers and stamps in it.  I need to be working on some awesome wedding cards for my daughter's upcoming wedding this fall!

I had fun playing today - I hope your weekend is going great so far!

I will enter the first card in:

This new stamp set in the kit is going to be one of my favorites!!!

Hugs in Green Blue and Turquoise

Having fun playing in the cave today!  We have remodelers here updating our bathroom so it's very noisy and quite a mess....I have escaped to my Woman Cave to have fun today!

This card was made with a few challenges in mind:

I used a Tim Holtz stencil (Floral Layering) with inks from Reverse Confetti and die cut the oval shape (which I am using in my next card) and the Altenew die cut letters out of another inked piece of card stock.  All card stock is from Gina K Designs and the flower is from a garage sale find from a few weeks ago.  Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope your Thursday is off to a great start!

Building the Birthday Stash...

Here's the oval die cut left over from my last card and some more pieces of the inked panel.  For these cards I used the same stencil by Tim Holtz (Floral Layered) with Reverse Confetti Inks, Nuvo glitter drops, and the stamp set from Inspired by Stamping called "Sending You".

I'm slowly but surely building my stash of bday cards because I really need them!

Happy Thursday and I hope you get in some crafty fun this week!

I will enter the one without the oval center into the

Window Bear Hugs

Okay so now I'm at my limit for the Just Us Girls Challenge #394 - I had made so many panels of the colors for that challenge and die cut different pieces out of them, I had enough to make one more card.  I think it sort of fits the CAS(E) This Sketch Challenge #223 only my shape is a circle and not an oval....hope that counts!  Anyway, here's my last card in these colors - you are smiling I just know it!

I used some dotted dies from Your Next Stamp, some Hero Arts acetate for the window, a bear from a clear set "Forever in Time" that I won in a recent DT contest, letter dies from Altenew, heart dies from CC Designs, stitched circle die from Memory Box, "Sending You" sentiment from Hero Arts "Prayers" stamp and die set, Gina K Designs card stock, and inks from Reverse Confetti.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Sending Bday Wishes

I used the "Heart Strings" die set from Concord & 9th along with a "Sending" die from Simon Says Stamp and a birthday sentiment from Inspired by Stamping "Sending You" set.  I filled the heart die cut with another heart cut from patterned paper from Concord & 9th "Floral Fill-ins" pack.  The "Sending" was cut from watercolored paper and propped up on a black die cut to help it pop!

I'm trying to build my stash of bday cards....always need lots of these!
Happy crafting everyone!

New Mod Squad Challenge "Birthday Bash"

There's a brand new challenge over at the Mod Squad Challenge Blog starting today!  I hope you can join the fun - the theme is "Birthday Bash!"  It's easy - just make a birthday creation and enter to win a $25 gift card to Tupelo Designs, LLC - and they have FREE SHIPPING, so thats $25 worth of product.  Tupelo Designs, LLC has LOTS of goodies from many, many manufacturers and you are sure to fine exactly what you are looking for!

For my first card,  I used the new Concord & 9th Floral Fill-In Stencil set on a piece of Concord & 9th Floral Fill-In Patterned Paper with Hero Arts inks then added Spectrum Noir Sparkle Marker.  The paper is 6" X 6" so I cut it diagonally so I could make two cards from one sheet.  The sentiment is from Altenew Birthday Greetings stamp set stamped in Versamark Ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder and then I added few sequins.

My second card was made with an inks from My Favorite Things Premium Ink Cubes set 17 swiped down the front panel.  I then lightly stamped "Cheers" in the Wild Wisteria cube from the stamp set My Favorite Things "Uncorked" stamp set all over the background.  I cut two wine glasses with the Reverse Confetti Cuts "Clink" die set then added a few strips of black and wisteria card stock to the card before adding the tilted wine glasses.  I used another stamp from the same set for the inside of the card.  You can see it i the last picture below.

Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you will go over to the Mod Squad Challenge Blog and join us this week for a really fun Birthday Bash Challenge!
