Happy Easter Bunny with Tulips

Hi there, I've been playing in the cave again working on Easter cards!  This card was made with the March 2017 Simon Says Stamp Kit.  I used patterned paper, card stock and stamps from the kit. (Stamp set is "Some Bunny")  After stamping with Hero Arts black dye ink, I colored him with Prismacolor pencils and outlined him in Copics.  Then after adhering the white panel to the green card base, I cut the front of the card on the sides so you could see the inside back of the card with the pretty dotted paper showing through.  I rounded the corners, then added clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.  The turquoise card stock strips are from Reverse Confetti, white card stock from Gina K Designs, green from the kit.  The heart die is from Paper Smooches.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

I'll enter this in the Send a Smile 4 Kids Animal Cards Challenge
and the Uniko Easter Spring Challenge

A Mother's Love

I almost didn't buy this stamp set because it had a lot of Mother's Day and Love sentiments.  My mom passed away summer of 2015 so making Mother's Day cards was tricky last year and I imagine it will be again this year.  I do have both a mother-in law and a step mother-in-law that I made cards for - but it was difficult.  I was so happy that at the Reverse Confetti retreat last fall we made one mother's day card and then I won a 2nd of the same card (the one that Jen had made) in a drawing.  So ta-da!  I have my two mother's day cards I need for this year.  It was such a relief!

But after looking at this sentiment, I can send a card with this sentiment to my daughters or daughter in laws.....will make me happy to share a card like this with them!

Stamps used were "Wild Hibiscus" from Altenew, Archival black ink, Distress Oxide inks and sponge daubers, washi tape, black and white card stock from Gina K Designs, and tons and tons of Wink of Stella.  In one of the pictures below you can see how crazy I went with the Wink of Stella!

I'm over at the a2z scrapbooking blog today with this card!
Here are the details:

This card was quick to make, just stamped some flowers and leaves from the Hero Arts “Let Love Grow” set (in Distress Oxide inks) and cut a strip of black to mount the strip on.  I die cut the bird and used the same inks on him, added some black with a black marker, and added the Hero Arts “Grateful” rubber stamp sentiment on a scalloped oval die cut that was inked with the same inks.  I put it all on the card base and was done in no time!
Hope you will take the time to enter the 2 ways to win a $25 gift card to the a2z scrapbooking store!  Here's the scoop:

Daisy Thank You

I had fun making this card for a few challenges and to build up my stash of thank you cards.  I used Gina K Designs card stock, stamp sets "Love and Prayers" for the flowers and "Made with Love" for the sentiment.  I inked with a dotted stencil with Distress Oxide Inks in Cracke Pistachio, Spiced Marmalade, and Fossilized Amber, then stamped and fussy cut the flowers out in the same inks.  I adhered the flowers to the center and then used my Misti repeatedly to get the sentiment to stamp with the flowers overlapping.  I ended up having to use a black fine tip marker to make the sentiment complete on some of the seams betweens flowers.  It probably would have been better to just stamp the flowers directly on the card and then it would be a one layer card!

Here are the challenges I will enter with this card:
