Birthday Scratch Off

I've been playing with my SSS August kit and have made several bday cards for family members and friends with the scratch off stickers and they will be tons of fun!  This one is for a granddaughter and I used stamps from the "It's No Secret" set that came in the kit, along with patterned paper from the kit.  Other supplies I used were - stitched curved dies, white card stock, Hero Arts Silver Embossing Powder, white gel pen, inks from my stash, and the Silver Glitter Nuvo drops that came in the kit too.

Love Bear

This card was made for the Color My Heart Color Dare #208 and I plan to send it to one of my grandkids.  I used a Close to My Heart stamp set called "Beary Much" and dies from Lawn Fawn's "Meadow Borders"- the grass and the tiny tulips.  I used Distress inks, sponge daubers and "Fantastix" to color in the colors of the challenge.   And finally added a little Wink of Stella to all tulips and big heart.  I also used that stamp set to stamp the envelope.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Congratulations Anniversary Fishies

I made this anniversary card with some patterned paper from my stash (looks like wood), a background bubble paper from Gina K Designs (I foiled it in gold then inked it with several Distress Inks to look like the ocean), black card stock, Tim Holtz water color paper for the fish that I colored with Zigs and fussy cut.  Sentiment is from SSS Congratulations stamp set, Versafine black ink, Paper Smooches heart die, Memory Box stitched circle dies, google eye from my stash, and Wink of Stella on the heart and fish.

I will be entering this in the The Heart Desires Challenge #3 - I used the wood grain and metallic elements in my card, since I don't have any succulent stamps!  And in the Simon Says Monday Challenge - Go Fish.  And in the Tuesday Throwdown Make it Sparkle Challenge.  And in the NBUS Challenge #7.  (NBUS items, background bubbles and the big fish.)
(Foiling is my sparkle!)

Watercolor Birthday Daisy

This card is for a friend's upcoming birthday.  I used Distress Inks and watercolor paper from Tim Holtz to make the colorful daisy.  I used Hero Arts Paper Layering Daisy DI118 , and the Hero Arts Happy Stamp and Cut set for sentiment (die cut and heat embossed in white embossing powder, along with Hero Arts Acts of Kindness CL911 on the envelope.  Also on envelope is a sentiment from Waffle Flower Happy Mail set.  I added Nuvo Silver Glitter drops for some bling to finish it off.

Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope your weekend has been great!

Entering this in the Die Cut Divas Challenge #280 Birthdays and NBUS Challenge #7
(I used new distress inks that I got this week.)

With Sympathy

I had made several background with wax paper technique earlier in the year and saved them for cards in my stash with no sentiment.  Here's another wax paper card I did earlier this year:  HERE

I added ribbon, a sentiment from a set that has no name, butterfly is Hero Arts Swallowtail Butterfly DI133, flourish is from MFT, pearls and card stock from my stash, Hero Arts white embossing powder, and used Hero Arts CL911 Acts of Kindness for the tiny sentiment and strip of hearts on the envelope.  I really hate having to make sympathy cards because it is always so sad, but hopefully the recipient will know I've been thinking of them....
