Hello Friend - Stencil with Plaid



Out of my comfort zone, I used soft colors in this "Hello Friend" card with the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #354 colors in mind.  I also wanted to do a little stenciling today, so I chose Tim Holz's Dot Fade stencil.  The flower die cut is from Poppies Stamps/Memory Box, it's their Arched Poppies die.  The pink in the card comes from Hero Arts Shadow Ink in Soft Pink and the plaid insets come from the new Lawn Fawn Perfectly Plaid pack.  The sentiment is from Simon Says Birthday Flowers set and the sequins are from Pretty Pink Posh.  Scalloped rectangle die with the stitching is from WPlus9 Sunshine Layers die set.  Blue and white card stock is from Gina K. Designs and the yellow metallic card stock used to cut the inset die is from my stash.  Lastly, I added Wink of Stella to the plaid sections of the leaves and flowers.
