I'm starting on this year's Valentine's Day cards and this is my first one. I will send this to one of my daughters in Feb. I started with a red card base and white panel and rounded the corners on the right side. Then I die cut the hole pattern with Paper Smooches Dots and Dashes dies before adhering it to the card base. Heart stamp, from Hero Arts Yes Stamp and Cut set, was stamped with Fire Brick red ink with my Misti. Gingham patterned paper on inside and out, is from Gina K Designs Cold Snap pack. Tiny twine bow die from Waffle Flower used on red cardstock for embellishment along with 3 heart sequins from my stash.
Entering this in CAS(e) ths a Sketch #155 Challenge
and Share Joy #18 Challenge Photo Inspiration. I'm only doing the right side, for inspiration, not the sketch side and The Mod Squad Love is in the Air Challenge
What a challenging sketch! I found your card on the Mod Squad Challenge but saw the sketch in your post. I would have skipped that sketch, but you did it well. I love how you kept it clean and sweet. That gingham pattern on the edge and inside makes me swoon.
ReplyDeleteGreat card, I love the dots in the jagged line. Total layout is brilliant.
ReplyDeleteOh, this is so fun how you filled in the space with the dots! Wonderful take on the sketch!
ReplyDeleteOh, wow! I love the clean and simple look of this card with just the red and white. That die with the hole pattern is so cool, very unique. Beautiful little hearts just set off the whole thing. Great take on the challenge! Thanks so much for playing along with us this week over at
