Balloon Birthday

Today has been a busy day, but I just had to try this idea using polymer clay on a card.  So here's what I came up with:

Happy Birthday card with lots of balloons cut from different papers in my stash, along with a dark brown polymer clay balloon I made.  I used tiny clay cutter in circle shape and a stich pattern I have with holes in it and a fine tip gold marker to add dots in swirls to the clay.  I put a hole through it before I baked it so I could run a string through it and tie a bow. I had a hard time getting a string through the hole so I ended up using white waxed linen for the string from my jewelry making stash.  The wax linen actually worked lots better because it holds its shape and it makes the bow is easier to form.  Birthday cake stamp is from Gina K Designs Happy Birthday to You set.  Dies used were Spellbinders scalloped rectangle, Avery Elle dotted border dies, and Paper Smooches balloon dies.  Cardstock is all GKD in Dark Chocolate and White.  Cardbase is white, center panel is popped up on thick fun foam for a fun look and a few balloons also were popped up.
